2nd Tevet Monday 6th December Hanukkah Day 8 Where You Are Isaiah 40 song John 1 v5 Study here. It is clear no matter how we read it, where You are, light is also. We thank You today for the festival of light represented by Hanukkah, for the testimony of Your miraculous provision, for the confirmation of Your overcoming, for the affirmation of our faith that You came into the world, and will come again. Your ways are higher, Your thoughts are deeper, Mighty Lord God, Your plans are not our plans. You have purposed Yourself to redeem Your people to Yourself, and You will see it done. Holy Lord, in knowing and acknowledging this may we also lay down every hindrance or barrier to our aligning ourselves wholly and completely with You. May Your will and way be first in our minds, thoughts and deeds, may the name of Your Son, Jesus, Yeshua, be ever on our lips in thanksgiving, petition and praise. You are the Alpha and the Omega, You are our Provider, You are the lifter of our heads. Be our God as we commit to being Your people, in the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen. https://youtube.com/watch?v=O5d_gm9zrnY 1st Tevet Sunday 5th December Hanukkah Day 7 The Prayer With Lead Us Lord Remain In You Isaiah 44 v3:5 Pour out Your water, High King of Heaven. You have poured out Your love. That which cleanses from sin. That which frees from every witchcraft and curse. Now, we ask, pour out that which clears away. That which purifies, refreshes, renews. Where Your rain falls, so new life comes. Where raindrops land, the soil receives its nourishing. Lord, we open to it, we look to it, we trust in You. Where we lack, You will provide abundantly, where we fall, You will lift us up, where we fail, Your grace is sufficient. Overcome, overwhelm, astound us, Mighty God of Jacob. Make this new month one of abundance and proclamation. For Your name's sake, amen. 30th Kislev Saturday 4th December Hanukkah Day 6 To Him Be Glory More Love, More Power 1 Corinthians 15 v42:45 Lord God of Heaven, we do not just celebrate the miracle of the provision of Menorah oil today, yet also the Sabbath and the evening of a new month. In this new month, we pray, let Your light shine through Your children. We need the anointing and presence of Your Holy Spirit as evidence of our converted heart, we pray humbly for an outpouring of Your love on a land and world that is thirsty and in need of understanding and love. You are the Way, the Truth and the Life, we declare, You have made a way, You have set the captives free. Light up the workers of Your fields, Father, that the sheep may know the shepherds, that the crops may give forth their fruit joyfully to the harvesters' hands. All good things come from You, Father God, may they return to You also, with interest, celebration and praise, for Your glory alone, in Jesus's wonderful and mighty name, amen. Leviticus 13 v14:17 Let It Rain All Who Are Thirsty 29th Kislev Friday 3rd December Hanukkah Day 5 No Longer Slaves Holy Is The Lord God Almighty Psalm 118 v14:21 You have set us free, Lord of Lords and King of Kings. You have ransomed us, healed us, forgiven us. Lord help us never take this tremendous gift for granted. Let us remember and think on its power, let us remember and think on the consequence that we deserved. And Lord, as we do this, let us receive of that same power. Not that we can become vain and puffed up, but that we can glorify You and exemplify You in achieving Your will and proclaiming Your word into a world that it is dying for lack of knowledge. Help us in overcoming and provision, for Your glory and the coming of Your Kingdom upon the earth. Amen. 28th Kislev Thursday 2nd December Hanukkah Day 4 We Plough The Fields And Scatter Eagle's Wings Psalm 51 You have poured out Your love, Lord. You have set Yourself upon that cursed tree. Yet You are no longer there, the debt is paid, death could not hold You. Glory hallelujah! Glory amen! You have won the victory, You have set Your children free, forgiving them of sins and remembering their transgressions no more. Who is like You, Lord of Hosts? Today we seek to emulate Your forgiveness in our lives with our forgiveness of others. Where they have wronged us, where we have been hurt, where we have been led down wrong paths, You are able to overcome. We lay down our grievances at Your feet, and come to You, rising, on the wings of eagles. Thank You, Mighty Jehovah, thank You, Jesus, our Lord, amen. 27th Kislev Wednesday 1st December Hanukkah Day 3 So Will I Lion And The Lamb Luke 16 v4:14 O Lord, You are unrivalled in wealth and wisdom, Your word declares that the least of Your wisdom is greater than the greatest of man's. Today, Lord, we ask for insight and understanding into this parable that You have spoken during Your ministry on earth. Though the ending is clear, that we cannot serve God and money, and that You were addressing those who loved money, it is in the advice for the dishonest steward we pray for discernment and divine influence. We want to be fruitful and honest in our dealings and accounts, to become free of financial debt and honest investors into Your Kingdom on Earth and in Heaven. To bring tribute to You, to bring charity out of love for the poor and needy, for Your glory also. Help us in this, Lord we pray, and in the provision and the understanding of good administration for the same. Amen. 26th Kislev Tuesday 30th November Hanukkah Day 2 Heart Of Worship I Need You More Galatians 4 v1:7 Holy Lord God of Heaven, we come to You as wretches and vagabonds, as idolaters and murderers, yet You transform us, through the precious blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ, into sons, daughters and heirs. Who is like You in all the Earth? Who can match You for grace, mercy or favour? Who would give so much, that we might live forever? We turn to You, we return to You, we seek Your face, we long to hear the sound of Your voice. Speak, Holy Spirit, lead, guide, teach, correct. We adore You and praise You, for who You are, what You are doing, what You have done and what You will do. Come, Lord Jesus, come, we pray, for the Father's glory, amen. 25th Kislev Monday 29th November Hanukkah Day 1 Wonder Working Here I Am To Worship Lamentations 3 v17:23 In this time of celebration, testimony and remembrance, Lord, our hearts and minds are turned to the afflicted. Those who are persecuted, those who are sick, those who are bombarded and attacked. Those who are hungry, those who are thirsty, those who are weak, those who are afraid. Lord, our enemy is ruthless in his exit strategy, wanting to divide and destroy as much as possible before the time of his reckoning. We speak out against his crimes and his evil intent. Please rebuke and bind those who stand, work or speak against You or Your Holy saints, in the name of Jesus, who is the Messiah. Have mercy, O God of Isaac and God of Jacob. The supernatural work is the work of Your Holy Spirit in action, and we pray for alignment that will let Your Spirit flow through us and into others, for Your glory alone, Amen. 24th Kislev Sunday 28th November Hannukah: Preparation Day Yield My Heart Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 14 v26:40 Study here. You are the Mighty Lord God, Jehovah, called Yahweh, the Lord Most High, the Maker and Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. You are perfect, infallible, Your word goes out into all the earth. It does not come back to You void, it always achieves its purpose. Today we pray a prayer for Your ministers. All are called, all have gifts, all are parts of a body whose head is Christ, Jesus, called Yeshua, Your only begotten Son. As we prepare for this eight day celebration, recording and lifting praises and testimony to Your great goodness, patience, faithfulness and provision in our lives, we look to the light, Your Holy Spirit to dwell within us richly and guide us in thought, word and deed. You have poured out this Spirit on Your children, we need this to survive more than we need air to breathe, food to eat or water to drink. Be with us and in us, be the first and last thought in our minds, be the greatest name on our lips, be our One, True, Living God and may we serve or think on no other, for Your glory, in Jesus's name, amen.
