Friday 25th November The theme for today's worship is 'Fruits of the Spirit: Love' See Galatians 5 v22:23 Who Am I? Your Presence John 13 v34:35 1 John 4 v7 Dear Lord, Through your Holy Spirit we can receive abundant life. Not just for ourselves but for those around us. Lord help us to make right decisions for you. Let us walk by the Spirit and not gratify the desires of the flesh. The first and most important gift is to love our neighbours as our Lord taught us to. Please help us to understand the context of your command and put it into practice. Teach us to love that we might be like you. Help us O Lord from the insecurity of poverty and the desire to be secure. The battle of balancing our needs with those around us. May we love our neighbours as ourselves. In Jesus's name. Amen. Galatians 5 v13:14 Friday 2nd December Theme :Fruit of the spirit Joy You Have Turned Hosanna! (Praise Is Rising) Isaiah 12 v6  Psalm 28 v7 1 Peter 1 v8:9 James 1 v2:4 Lord, As we consider Christmas we see that God, the Father, Son and Holy spirit, had planned for the coming of God into our world to bring us into completeness with you. As I reflect on joy in my life we see that this time is because of all your good and perfect work in action. May the love and grace of God open my heart ever more to you. That you will have full reign in me. Lord take away fear and anxiety. Let your spirit come in and reign and bring completeness of joy. But let us be wise and Spirit give us knowledge in our daily life that we might be warriors, lacking nothing. Thank you Father for sending your Son. Thank you Jesus for coming to us, thank you Spirit for your work and counsel. Amazing love. Amen. The earth and everything in it yearned for the messiah, the coming king. For we needed a saviour, a redeemer, more than we need antibiotics today. John the Baptist prepared the way for his coming yet he came from heaven at the appointed time to save. Lord help us to yearn to wait for you. Take away our selfishness and make us princely servants that your provision might abound in us. May you look on us, with Christ's righteous robe upon us, and be happy. Let us yearn for your coming again to save the earth. In patience let us seek after you in prayer. Bless the Lord Amen. https://youtu.be/fiyYoe678yI Sunday 25th December Fruit of the Spirit: Kindness Kindness is goodness in action, sweetness of disposition, gentleness in dealing with others, benevolence, affability. The word describes the ability to act for the welfare of those taxing your patience. The Holy Spirit removes abrasive qualities from the character of one under His control.  Thank You You Are Good Jesus I Need You Isaiah 54 v10 Joel 2 v13 2 Corinthians 6 v6 2 Peter 1 v5:7 Genesis 24 v14 Prayer Oh Lord, teach us to be like you in kindness for you bless all mankind whoever they are. Lord help us to not be humanly kind but to be kind by your Holy Spirit. If I can not be brilliant, let me be kind. If I can not change the world, let me inspire just one another to do so. If I cannot give away riches, let me be loving. Let me be known for kindness, for it is the greatest glory. Tender Jesus, so meek, so mild, teach us to be like You in all our ways. Teach us kindness, gentleness, generosity, and to be giving, forgiving, loving and caring. Teach us to follow in Your humble footsteps. Guide us to the place You want us to be, take control. Mold and shape us into the brilliant beings we were always destined to become. Saviour, lead us to the place in our souls where there is tranquility, peace and calmness, where the waters are so still we can walk on them with You holding our hands and leading the way. Allow our gentle spirits of love, kindness and gentleness to infiltrate and infect the land. Let it spread like a wildfire across the nation. Amen Saturday 31st December Fruit of the Spirit Theme: Goodness Spirit Move You Are Good Jeremiah 6 v16 2 Peter 1 v5:7 Romans 2 v7:11 Dear Lord and Father. When I look at my failings Lord have mercy. Lord by your Holy Spirit help me to put my life wholly into your hands. Lord when temptation comes help me to say no in the first 2 seconds.
