Tuesday 22nd January Theme: Global worship I do hope and pray that you have enjoyed and been encouraged by this celebration of global worship as I have. I revisit a few of the songs here and introduce two for continued prayer and hope in the days to come. May the Lord bless you richly for your cooperation, patience, diligence and faith, may He bless the whole world in the outbreak of His name and power in Jesus's name forever, amen. Yeshu Masih Ki Jai Shir Lamaalot Arabic Christian Worship Song (Wrongly marked as Yemeni) How Great Is Our God (World Edition) John 3 v16:17 (Arabic) John 3 v16:17 (English) Holy Lord God of Israel, Creator of Heaven and Earth, You set the sun in its place and the stars in their paths. Who is like You in all the universe? Who can compare to Your might and tender love? Only You could conceive of a plan to redeem mankind from his fallen nature, to give an opportunity for all people alive to be saved and return to You. That You could conceive of such a plan that could reach into our lives and being whilst we are alive and being is a true measure of Your greatness, grace, power and majesty. We read in Your word, the Bible, that the preaching of the Cross is a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles, those outside of Judaism and Christianity. Lord of Hosts, we humbly ask today that You raise the bar and let the river of Your love and compassion for all people to flow out, as in the book of Ezekiel Chapter 47, that the lost, parched and the broken be lifted and sweetened in Your mercy and truth. May Jesus, our Messiah, speak openly and honestly through Your Holy Spirit, in visions, dreams and interpretations, through His precious name, through His shed blood and by the healing power of His stripes; that the pain of shame and sin borne by this righteous Lamb of God as a sacrifice for our sin and shame so many years ago, be placed upon His head and not our own. Be with us, Father, bless us Father, heal us Father, in Jesus's name, to Your glory, to the coming of Your Kingdom on Earth, forever, amen. Monday 21st January Theme: Global worship Like Oil This I Know (Ungizungezile) John 1 v1 (Afrikaans) John 1 v1 (English) John 1 v1 (Zulu) Study here Heavenly Father, You were there, You three in one, at the beginning. At once God, at once Jesus, at once the Holy Spirit. You dwelt together and from You all things came, like a river pouring forth or a tree bearing fruit. Thank You, King of Heaven for Your amazing grace. Thank You, Lord of Lords for all that You have done, are doing and will do. May our tiny specks join together to draw a picture of You, one that others can look upon and join in with. We celebrate You Jesus, as our beginning and end, to the glory of our Father in Heaven, amen. Sunday 20th January Theme: Global worship My Jesus, My Saviour Salita Mo John 17 v9:26 (Philipino (Tagalog)) John 17 v9:26 (English) Heavenly Father, we seek a oneness with You. Communion. You poured out Your life that we might live in righteousness. Not that any one of us should boast, but rather that You may be acknowledged as the only one capable of doing such a thing. Keep us, King of Kings, to Your heavenly path, that the distractions and detractors diminish, and our relationship with You come to the fore. In Jesus's name, amen. https://youtube.com/watch?v=NpT4ssFtEL8 Saturday 19th January Theme: Global worship Come To The River Baruch Haba B'Shem Adonai El Shaddai Shir Lamaalot Job 38 (Hebrew) Job 38 (English) Yes, God, yes, Mighty Jehovah, yes, Adonai, yes, Lord, yes, Holy Spirit, yes, Jesus, our Messiah. What can we say to You but, 'Yes!' You who set the stars in their paths and showed mercy to thousands? You who carried the Cross? You who bore our sins? Why would we look elsewhere? Why would we seek false teachers and prophets when You are who You are? Only because we have an Enemy. Only because we are weak. Lord of Hosts, in our weakness, You are strong. You have overcome sin and the grave that Your name may be known and that Your Kingdom on earth can be ushered in. Be with Your people today, Lord. Remember them. Even the best of them is failing before Your eyes and Law, yet You have showed grace and mercy, faithfulness and forgiveness. Lord God of Israel, hear the cry of Your people, and remember You are their God. Rebuke and bind the Enemy in our lives, cast him far away from us in Jesus's name, amen. https://youtube.com/watch?v=l6LyTE3Cibw Friday 18th January Theme: Global worship Forever Shipjaga Seonghyeol Aphe (At The Cross) Ephesians 6 v19:20 (Korean) Ephesians 6 v19:20 (English) O Holy Lord God, we worship and praise You in faith and joy because of who You are. Help us to lift each other up in prayer and petition. We are members of Your church, created and blessed so that we can work in unity to become greater than the individual parts. Help us celebrate and recognise our uniqueness, help us to sing joyfully of our symbiosis in You. God Almighty, thank You for building Your church through us. We hear that You will establish Your Kingdom. You will break the spirit and strongman of nations that oppose You, You will lift up Your children, those who recognise and obey the only true Sovereign King, Jesus, our Messiah. You will do this to shame the proud, to convict the wicked, to comfort the broken, to redeem the lost. You will do this to once and for all remove Satan from his seat of false authority. Thank You, Lord, for Your patience and power, thank You, Jesus, for Your offer of salvation. Amen. https://youtube.com/watch?v=fiyYoe678yI Wednesday 16th January Theme: Global worship Comfort Ye Infiniment Grand Luke 18 v9:14 (French) Luke 18 v9:14 (English) Heavenly Father, we need Your help, Your guidance, Your comfort, Your grace, Your mercy, Your justice, Your forgiveness, Your salvation. Without You we are just dust, and to dust we shall return. Yet, when You are with us, there is no mountain that cannot be overcome, the very gates of Hell cannot prevail against us. Yet the path to You is fraught with subtle danger. Today, Lord, let us not be puffed up and grand, like the Pharisee. Let us humble ourselves before You and yield to the way that You would have us walk, even at the cost of our foolish vanity and pride. Free us from these chains in Jesus's mighty name, we pray. Amen. Tuesday 15th January Theme: Global worship Good, Good Father Wairua Tapu 2 Corinthians 6 v11:13 (Maori) 2 Corinthians 6 v11:13 (English) Holy Lord, Heavenly Father God, You commissioned Your disciples to go to the ends of the earth to preach Your Gospel of Good News. In reaching the furthest points geographically from Jerusalem this work is being accomplished. Your Word and Truth overcomes all previous beliefs and practices as the way to reach You is only through Your Son, Jesus, who is the Christ. Whilst this can be difficult to accept, it is the truth. Help us, dear Lord, in our understanding and comprehension. You, who made a way in the wilderness, please make a way in our hearts and minds today. In Jesus's name, amen. https://youtube.com/watch?v=QIyK7c_Az8g https://youtube.com/watch?v=Gi9Yd3QFO7E Monday 14th January Theme: Global worship Who Am I? Al Wat Ik Ben Hebrews 8 v7:12 (Dutch) Hebrews 8 v7:12 (English) Holy Lord God of Israel, You are awesome in majesty, wealth and power. Not the riches of men, though You collapsed the stars that made the silver and gold, but the riches of Heaven. You have showered us in Your blessing, in truth and understanding there is no equal to You. Lord of Lords, pour out Your blessings on the barren land, make the bitter water sweet for Your children. Bless the lives of those that love us but do not understand us, shine through Your children into the night, in Jesus's mighty name we pray, Amen. https://youtube.com/watch?v=uKDZA4ZPJ94 Sunday 13th January Theme: Global worship Holy Spirit Rain Down Here I am To Worship Isaiah 43 v5:7 (Portuguese) Isaiah 43 v5:7 (English) Blessed Lord of Glory, King of Kings, we praise You and worship You, we want the name of Jesus to be lifted high, that all ears within our surroundings may hear His voice, that all eyes that look upon us can see His face. It is Your desire to work through Your people. You could do it all with a word to the angels, with a gesture of Your hand, a move of Your will, yet You desire a work through Your independent people, for Your name's sake, for the sake of Your Son, Jesus, who is the Christ. Amen and Hallelujah, Lord of Lords! Amen and Hallelujah, Jesus Messiah. Amen and Hallelujah, Holy Spirit, Comforter, Counsellor, Friend. https://youtube.com/watch?v=K0nJwgTykGI Saturday 12th January Theme: Global worship King Of My Heart The Gift Of Knowing You Ephesians 5 v3:5 (Chinese) Ephesians 5 v3:5 (English) Holy Lord God of Israel, You do not deal with us harshly. You forgive our sins, You have done away with our deserved death. You are patient, faithful, kind and loving. Is it too much to ask that we be polite? Before You, towards others. There is a place for anger, but it is a long way down the list of things we can try. Help us, dear Lord, put kind words in our hearts and mouths. To our friends, to our enemies, to You, Lord of Lords and King of Kings, in Jesus's mighty name. Amen. https://youtube.com/watch?v=X53Yz6nJjSk Friday 11th January Theme: Global worship This Is Jesus Rey de Mi Corazon Job 21 v7:18 (Espanol) Job 21 v7:18 (English) O Lord of Hosts, You do not despise Your children. You have an end for the wicked. Today Lord, greet us with the Truth of who You are and who You would like us to be. Guide us, through Your Holy Spirit, in ways that are pleasing to You, as they lead to us becoming a likeness of You, a likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. You have made a way in the desert, that those who choose to glorify and honour Your name can follow, in rejoicing and singing, in Jesus's name. You speak also the language of the angels. When You speak, those that hear Your voice listen, hear and understand. Awesome are You, great are You, holy are You. You are far and above, You are near and personal. You are the Saviour, the Keeper, the Ancient of Days. Mighty God, El Shaddai, we worship You and have hope in You because You loved us first.
