Revive Us

Malachi 4 v1:3

To walk on the path, to have knowledge of the Way, is to know You, Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Even though the burden placed upon us is small, it can seem heavy if we lose sight of You. The Enemy is quick to add to the load, where every doubt and fear can go from the merest thought to the heaviest of burdens. He is ruthless in his exploitation of our perceived faults. Yet none of them are or have been hidden from view. Satan thinks and understands from a limited viewpoint, whereas You see all, are in all and and know all things. Help us today, Father, keep to the narrow path. To have our sights fixed on Jesus and the city He has said that He is building to prepare us a place. Let us not deviate from the left or the right, and to keep our burden in context with the one He bore to the cross. In all things, help us grow into a deeper understanding of You and the works of Your hands, Jesus's name we pray, amen.

Thy Will Be Done

Romans 7 v8:25

There is no hiding from You, Lord God of Israel. There is no place to run, no part of us remains unrevealed. So we should not try. We should be open, honest and real in all of our dealings, in trusting in our walk and way with You. Where our sin was great, Your mercy abounds more. Let us not become callous or carefree in our walk with You though, every wrong we have been forgiven has been bought at a price. Freely given, yes, all glory, honour and praise to You, yet not without cost. Lead us and guide us in the way we should go this day, Lord, may You bring healing, as the Great Physician, to both ourselves and those we pray for. That we may give testimony and sing Your praises, and point others to the truth of a living relationship with You. In Jesus's mighty name we pray this, amen.

You move with power and authority, Holy Spirit. You establish the Father's will. You give us comfort, direction and companionship. Help us see Your hand that we may help you in achieving Your goals throughout the day. You can achieve all of it without us, yet we humbly ask to be a part of it, for Your glory and name's sake. In our places of work, in our homes and in all the places in between, give us joy and courage supernaturally, that we may in turn shine Your light into other people's eyes. Amen.

Just One Touch From The King

2 Chronicles 19 v4:5

As we read Your word, we can discern the things that You count towards righteousness. For Jehoshaphat, it was a will and action of going out and returning the hearts of the people to You and Your ways. Today, Lord, we commit to doing the same, whether in country or city, wilderness or tended fields, mountains or valleys, we commit to going out and sharing Your message, to acting as a conduit for Your Holy Spirit in returning Your children to You. This is Your desire, this is Your command. Where we have not done this we are sorry, with what we can we commit to do so in the future for Your glory and name's sake, not for reward or recognition amongst our peers, but out of thankfulness for what You have done, are doing and will do in our lives and a yearning to serve You to the best of our ability. Amen.
