God Of Wonders

Matthew 10 v29:34

Your eye is on the sparrow, Lord of Lords and King of Kings. You grant them a home. So You are also able to watch over and provide for us. So, Lord, today we pray for the establishment of Your people. Their estate and place. Even though we have a home in Heaven, our true home and ultimate destination, we also pray for the territory, buildings or land that they inhabit here on earth. Although it be temporary, although they are not to hold on to or cling to it on the day of Your return, still the tents of Jacob or the house of John provided help, health, identity and shelter as well as a place of gathering to glorify Your name. Strengthen the walls and reaffirm the foundations, Lord and do not let the forces of the Enemy assail or overcome. May they be hidden from view from the eyes of the wicked, but may the doors ever be open to the lonely, lost or afraid. Establish us, Lord, we pray. Amen!

Judges 13

You heard the voice of Your servant's wife in the times when Israel was delinquent, Lord God Almighty. You were compassionate towards her and her husband because their lines and lives were failing. You are a caring and compassionate God. When they heard Your messenger they were astonished, and asked You to appear to them again. Again You were compassionate. You are patient with Your children. And You sat with them and waited as they prepared an offering to You. Heavenly Father we ask for Your compassion and patience. Even where we are slow to hear and understand. Be with us in prayer and fellowship, talk to us that we may listen to You and lead us to revival for Your church and name's sake. Amen.

The Good Shepherd

Matthew 13 v1:9

In this way You presented Yourself and the Father's Kingdom to the people of the Promise, Jesus of Nazareth. As a humble man in a fisherman's boat, relating stories of the Kingdom, wrapped in mysteries to hide them from the hard of heart. In teaching this way, You also revealed the way of the scriptures, and the true interpretation of the mysteries of God that had escaped the Israelite people not long after Moses passed. Discernment was for the precious few. Yet Your sacrifice would lay bear all but the last mystery, the day of You coming again. Beautiful Lord, Wonderful Saviour, speak through Your Spirit again we pray in Your name, amen.

Genesis 31 v19:24

There are points in history where You speak and people act, Lord God Almighty. Evidence that You are alive and able to influence our daily lives. May we ever be open to instruction and guidance, not slow to accept but quick to move and embrace words that are meant for our good. Although we may question and even speak with You about them, that we might test the Spirit according to Your word, ultimately let us accept what comes from You and move decisively upon receipt. True blessing comes from such motions, and refuge and safety are being under the shadow of Your wings. And thank You, Lord, for trusting us as vessels receptive to Your words, what an honour it is to be spoken to by You. Amen.
